Born in Jordan to Yemeni parents, I spent my early years in Saudi Arabia and eventually moved to the UK. My life has always been shaped by movement across countries, cultures and language. But no matter where I’ve lived, there’s always been one constant: the pull of home.

Watan Threads was created from that feeling, the longing to stay connected to where we come from, even when we’re far away. “Watan” means homeland but for many of us in the diaspora, it’s not just a place. It’s a feeling. A memory. A rhythm in our language, a pattern in our fabric, a scent in the air.

This brand is about creating pieces that mean something; pieces that carry a sense of identity, history and pride. Every design is thoughtfully made to honour the culture we come from, while fitting into the lives we live in now.
